A Deaf-led Movement Empowering the Deaf Community Across Sarawak.

Founded by Deaf professionals in Sarawak, we are committed to promoting Deaf identity, culture, and community — through advocacy, leadership, and Malaysian Sign Language education.

Our Vision & Mission

Vision
Empowered Deaf Voices, United Across Sarawak

We envision a Sarawak where every Deaf person – no matter where they live – feels strongly connected, empowered and recognised through a vibrant, inclusive and proudly Deaf-led movement.

Mission
At Sarawak Deaf Community Services Association, we:
  • Prioritise Deaf leadership and self-representation
  • Raise awareness of Deaf rights and identity across Sarawak
  • Innovate accessible, interactive BIM learning experiences
  • Develop city hubs to anchor Deaf services in Kuching, Sibu and Miri
  • Establish strong partnerships with government and private sectors to ensure Deaf voices are heard.
